Resources are encouraged to be adopted or incorporated in current speaker preparation processes.

ASIS Copyright Infringement Protection Guidelines

ASIS Chapters, Communities, and other volunteer groups produce and share quality content to educate and engage. However, when producing or sharing content, it is important members and presenters are aware of and adhere to certain guidelines to ensure copyrighted work is not used in a manner that would put the individual, chapter, community, group, or ASIS at risk for claims of copyright infringement.

Volunteers’ Speaker Agreement

The following agreement was developed for volunteers to use when working with speakers on presentations that may be shared at a meeting or on a website affiliated with the volunteer group. Though the agreement is not required, it is recommended to help each party understand the importance of guarding against copyright infringement.
