Important Information About Online Learning

In an on-going effort to provide you with the best online professional development experience, ASIS International has updated its online learning platform. The old online learning platform will be phased out as of 31 October.

Find out if and how this impacts you.

Have you completed a course/webinar and need a credit record or copy of your certificate?

Impact: Credit records are not being transferred into the new online learning platform (The Learning Exchange), and after 31 October, you will not be able to generate your own certificates for documentation.

Requested action: Log into the old learning platform now and download your certificate prior to 31 October.

Details:

You have previously completed a course/webinar and need documentation.

If you have not done so already, please log onto the old learning platform before 31 October to download and save your certificate locally.

Previous credit records will not be moved into the new online learning platform (The Learning Exchange) but will be retained by ASIS.

If you have a certification profile, you will be able to see these records in your profile.

If you do not have a certification profile, ASIS will retain these records in our database for three (3) years. However, you will not be able to access this information online and will need to contact ASIS staff at asis@asisonline.org to assist you with documentation as needed.

FAQs

Why do I need my certificate?
The certificate serves as proof of completion and documentation of credit for your ASIS learning activity. ASIS Certifications (CPP, PCI, PSP) require these certificates as documentation for credits needed to maintain your certification. Outside certifications and employers often also require certificates as documentation and proof.

Will my credit information be totally lost?
No, ASIS will retain these records in our database for three (3) years.

How can I access this information after 31 October 2018?
If you have a certification profile, you will be able to see your credit records in your profile, but you will not be able to generate a certificate. If you do not have a certification profile, please reach out to ASIS staff at asis@asisonline.org for assistance checking your record and/or providing documentation.

What if I miss something or lose my copy of the certificate?
ASIS will retain this information in our database for three (3) years and can provide you with documentation to verify your credit. Please contact asis@asisonline.org.

Are you currently enrolled in the CPP and/or PSP Online Reviews?

Impact: CPP and PSP Online Review courses are moving into the new online learning platform (The Learning Exchange), and your access remains available through your 12-month term. However, your progress tracker from the old system will not carry over into the new system. You should resume at the module where you left off, and all work in the new system will be saved and tracked from there.

Requested action: Your course is now available in the new online learning platform,  The Learning Exchange, and you can access it at any time. Unfortunately, your progress wasn't brought over into the new system, but you can check your progress by logging into the old learning platform (through 31 October). Access to all modules remains available through your 12-month term for any additional review you'd like to do.
