The CPP Review Program is an accelerated review that provides a high-level overview of the security concepts and practices assessed on the CPP exam. This class enables you to identify your areas of strength and weakness in the seven key domains to develop a personalized study plan — focused on the areas YOU need most.  The classroom experience encourages networking with your peers and board-certified instructors.

The CPP Review is intended to supplement your other exam preparation activities.  The primary resource for study is the Reference Set for the exam​.  CPP Review Faculty have curated a targeted set of materials to organize your study that you will receive with your classroom materials.

Speakers

Philip S. Deming, CPP, CFE, SPHR, SHRM-SCP

After five years as a Special Agent with the United States Treasury Department, ATF, Mr. Deming established Philip S. Deming and Associates, a consulting firm specializing in human resource and security risk management. He has consulted on security risk matters, developed asset protection programs, and conducted internal investigations for various Fortune 100 companies as well as Internet commerce companies. Mr. Deming continues to serve in various roles in the public sector and has served as a lecturer at Villanova University, St. Joseph’s University – Criminal Justice Graduate Program, and professional security management seminars. He is an active member of ASIS International.

Dennis D. Shepp, MBA, CPP, CFE, PCI

Dennis Shepp is a security management practitioner, advisor, and educator. He has extensive experience with large training organizations, colleges, and universities having implemented accredited security training, a corporate university concept, and professional development programs that offer professional certifications. He recently was the professional development advisor for a major international energy company based in the Middle East, managing a complete curriculum re-engineering project. Dennis has been a member of teaching faculty for colleges and universities, working with internationally recognized accreditation programs and security training curriculum development. Dennis joined ASIS International in 1983 and serves as faculty on various ASIS educational programs.

If confirmation of registration and payment has not been received three days prior to the event, please email asis@asisonline.org.

Certificates of Attendance

ASIS reserves the right to withhold certificates, if attendance requirements are not met.

Last-Minute Registrations

While we welcome all registrations, including those on-site, the availability of handout materials cannot be guaranteed.

Business casual is recommended.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

Each 50-minutes of instruction is worth one CPE. This program awards up to 14 CPEs.

Cancellation and Transfer Policy

For a full refund or transfer credit, written requests must be received at least 10 days before the start date of the program. Those received less than 10 days prior will be charged a $100 cancellation/transfer fee.

Tours of Third-Party Sites

When a program includes a visit to or a tour of a third-party site, the host organization may require the use of non-disclosure agreements. Subject to the requirements of the host organization, the agreements offered to nationals and non-nationals of the host country may differ.

Team Discount

Receive a 10% discount when three to five attendees register from the same organization, 15% for six or more. Email asis@asisonline.org for details.​
