The ASIS Professional Certification Board (PCB) will be led in 2019 by William Moisant, CPP, PSP, a retired protection division chief for the U.S. Army. In his seventh year of service to the PCB, Moisant assumes the role of president after having served as the board's vice president in 2018. He will be succeeded in that role by Kristiina Mellin, CPP, PCI, PSP, regional protective services lead—Europe, Accenture AB.

The PCB oversees the ASIS board certification program and ensures that the domains of knowledge and the exams reflect the duties and responsibilities of security professionals. 2018 President Dana Adams, CPP, rolls off the board in 2019.

"Dana’s leadership of the PCB is greatly appreciated by the board’s members, ASIS certification holders, and the security profession as a whole," Moisant says. "I am excited to continue his work to fully launch the Associate Protection Professional early careerist certification and ensure that ASIS board certifications continue to serve the needs of today’s security professional and promote a safer world."

New to the PCB this year are:

  • Khalid Al-Ghamdi, CPP, PSP, security superintendent, Saudi Aramco
  • Lisa Dolan, CPP, president, Securit
  • Brian Lipscomb, PSP, advanced cyber solutions manager, Convergint Technologies
  • Humberto Santibañez, CPP, general manager, BESAFE

ASIS extends its thanks to departing PCB members Jose Degiorgis, CPP, Darin Dillon, CPP, Steve Kerley, CPP, and Leonard Ong, CPP.
