Security Management Wins Magazine of the Year

ASIS magazine staff takes home 17 awards, including top honor at Azbees

Alexandria, VA 2017-05-24

ASIS International's Security Management magazine took home 17 awards from the annual Azbee Awards, including "Magazine of the Year" in its revenue category. The Azbees—an awards program sponsored by the American Society for Business Publication Editors (ASBPE)—recognize outstanding work by magazines and newsletters as well as digital media, including websites, e-newsletters, digital magazines, and blogs. ASIS International is the world's largest membership association for security management professionals.

"This recognition once again reaffirms the dedication and expertise of the entire Security Management team," says Peter J. O'Neil, CEO, ASIS International. "We are honored that their commitment to producing the profession's go-to publication, as well as utilizing new forms of digital media to stay ahead of the curve, continues to be recognized by the business publication community."

Among the judges' praise, Security Management's work was recognized as "…very well researched and timely… something security professionals need to know and need to know now—a must read in the industry."
