Mary Higham, CEM, Recognized as a “40 Under 40” Industry Leader by Connect Association Magazine

Alexandria, VA 2016-06-21

Mary Higham, CEM, manager of exhibits and sponsorships at ASIS International, was recognized as an industry leader in Connect Association magazine’s “40 Under 40” feature in the spring 2016 issue. Connect Association is a national, B2B magazine that provides resources and ideas to meeting professionals and planners in the association and specialty meetings and events industry.

Peers in the association and specialty meetings world nominated Higham. Nominations were received from across the country, then reviewed and evaluated by the Connect Association editorial staff based on references, industry involvement and other resources. An annual feature in Connect Association magazine, “40 Under 40” is neither driven by advertising nor is it connected with any promotional contest. It simply honors young leaders who have earned respect from industry professionals and media.

“The individuals represented in our annual ‘40 Under 40’ represent what’s new and next in the association and specialty meetings industry,” says Chris Collinson, president of Connect. “They are the ones elevating the profession and moving it forward. We are honored to be able to present them in ‘The Next List’ feature.”

These next-gen leaders will be recognized in front of their peers at Connect Marketplace in Grapevine, Texas, Aug. 25-27, 2016.
