ASIS International (ASIS) is proud to be a participant in the U.S. Department of Commerce International Buyer Program (IBP). The IBP is a joint government-industry effort that brings thousands of international buyers to the United States for business-to-business matchmaking with U.S. firms exhibiting at major industry trade shows, resulting in approximately a billion dollars in new business for U.S. companies. The ASIS International Annual Seminar and Exhibits is the most influential event for security management professionals worldwide, drawing nearly 20,000 in attendance and 600 product and service exhibits.
"Businesses today operate on a global scale. As such, our members are responsible for the protection of assets around the world, inclusive of people, property, and information," noted ASIS President Dave N. Tyson, CPP. "The ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits brings the very latest technologies, products and services to our exhibit floor each year to provide practitioners with innovative solutions, but also to support the growth and expansion of these brands globally. The IBP offers valuable resources to enable our exhibitors to enhance their sales potential by exposing and leveraging emerging overseas markets."
As part of the IBP, ASIS 2015 exhibitors are invited to take part in one-on-one meetings with delegations of pre-screened buyers as well as specialists from key international regions to discuss market trends and consult on opportunities for new business.
