ASIS 2016 Site for First OSPAs in the US

Alexandria, Va. 2015-09-15

ASIS International (ASIS) will have the honor of hosting the first Outstanding Security Performance Awards (the OSPAs) in the United States at ASIS 2016 in Orlando, FL. The new international awards program recognizes and celebrates outstanding performance by organizations and professionals across the security industry─including individuals, teams and companies.

“The OSPAs are awarded to the very best performers in the security sector. These awards are conducted based on the core principles of independence, credibility and transparency. Category criteria are based on extensive research,” stated OSPA Founder Professor Martin Gill. “Across the world, security associations and groups are coming together to celebrate the most successful performers. We are delighted to be working with ASIS to launch the OSPAs in the U.S. in 2016.”

The OSPAs are being set up in collaboration with security associations and groups across many countries. Germany, Norway and Australia launched in 2015 and more countries will be announced soon. Learn more online.
Gill will make a formal announcement and provide award details, including categories and criteria, at an ASIS 2015 press conference on Tues., September 29 at 2:00 p.m. in Room 213A of the Anaheim Convention Center.
