ASIS 2008 Honored as One of Trade Show Executive Magazine’s "Gold 100"

Alexandria, Va 2009-11-13

The ASIS International 54th Annual Seminar and Exhibits (ASIS 2008) has earned a Trade Show Executive Gold 100 Award. Trade Show Executive magazine honors the top 100 trade shows in the United States each year based not only on net square feet of exhibition space, but on technological innovation, green initiatives, global participation and brand leadership.  The award was presented at the recent Trade Show Executive Gold 100 Awards & Summit in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

ASIS 2008, held in Atlanta, ranked as 79 in the United States.

“For more than 50 years, ASIS International has organized the Annual Seminar and Exhibits,” said ASIS President Michael R. Cummings, CPP.  “We are pleased that ASIS 2008, with its cutting-edge technologies, has been recognized by trade show experts. Coupled with our extensive educational programming and unparalleled networking opportunities, the ASIS Seminar has grown, over time, to become the most comprehensive event for security professionals worldwide.”

“By honoring the shows that set the Gold Standard for the industry, we are not only recognizing those events that have thrived during the severe economic downturn, but are also putting a spotlight on the new ideas and strategies that others can follow,” said Darlene Gudea, president of the Trade Show Executive Media Group.

The award recipients were honored during the annual Gold 100 Awards & Summit in September.
