ASIS 2008 Seminar and Exhibits to Feature Educational and Networking Opportunities along with Innovative Exhibits

Alexandria, Va. 2008-04-02
ASIS International, the preeminent organization for security management professionals worldwide, is offering more than 175 educational sessions of interest to security practitioners of all experience levels at its 54th Annual Seminar and Exhibits, to be held Sept. 15-18 in Atlanta. All sessions have been peer-reviewed and selected from a field of entries in a highly competitive submission process.
The increased number of educational sessions, along with networking opportunities and exhibits that encompass the latest security technologies and innovations, promise to make ASIS 2008 this year’s most important show dedicated to security.
ASIS 2008 expects to bring together more than 23,000 security, business and government professionals from more than 90 countries. Session topics will range from illegal immigrants in the workforce to protecting intangible assets and intellectual property, and from emerging trends for school security to implementing international enterprise security solutions, and much more. Ninety-two percent of exhibit space is sold out.
Tom Brokaw, one of the most respected figures in broadcast journalism, and political consultants James Carville and Mary Matalin, will be keynote speakers. Best-selling writer James Bradley, author of the book “Flags of Our Fathers,” will also speak.
