Founded in 1955, ASIS International is a global community of security practitioners, each of whom has a role in the protection of assets - people, property, and/or information.
Our members represent virtually every industry in the public and private sectors, and organizations of all sizes. From entry-level managers to CSOs to CEOs, from security veterans to consultants and those transitioning from law enforcement or the military, the ASIS community is global and diverse.

ASIS International condemns systemic racism and discrimination of any kind, anywhere, and we believe that black lives matter everywhere. ASIS International condemns the use of excessive force by law enforcement, and we call for more training of all law enforcement in the United States and around the world.
To this end, throughout the next year and beyond, ASIS International commits to improving and demonstrating its inherent commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This includes training and development for staff, volunteers, and members; revising our current Code of Ethics; developing an additional Code of Conduct; and, proactively partnering with other associations and organizations to actively foster safe and civil environments for knowledge exchange and dialogue around racism and discrimination globally.
We are committed to working with our chapters across the globe in addressing this issue.
Lastly, ASIS International pledges to work with law enforcement organizations to collectively learn from the past and forge a path towards a better future based on equity and inclusion.

ASIS International and ASIS Foundation Member Hardship Grants
ASIS International and the ASIS Foundation partner to provide support to our members during difficult times. If you have recently lost a job, had a serious illness, or have experienced another major hardship, then you may apply for support.
Additional criteria:

ASIS members in good standing can be considered for a membership renewal or re-certification hardship grant.

Only ASIS certificants in good standing (and have completed the 60 required CPEs) will be considered for a recertification hardship.

Hardship for membership dues and fees needs will be considered on a case by case basis by the ASIS member engagement team.
