The first step in forming a speaking relationship with us is to participate in one of our five conferences:
New York | Europe | Asia-Pacific | Seminar | Middle East
To become a speaker for one of these conferences, fill out an abstract through our call for presentations.
Speakers for council-sponsored programs are generally chosen from council members. Speakers at these programs speak on a volunteer basis (i.e., without fee).
If you are interested in joining a council, contact us and indicate the council you are interested in joining.
View the full list of councils.
Speakers for non-council-sponsored workshops (i.e. Review Programs, Assets Protection Program) are generally chosen from industry experts and leaders in the field and in most cases receive a small stipend plus expenses. Generally, ASIS does not pay per diem, honoraria, or expenses. However, your registration fee for the day of your presentation is waived. Occasionally, exceptions are made.
If you are interested in speaking, we ask that you complete the Speaker Application. To speak at a certification review course you must hold that certification and have spoken for ASIS before.
