The new Norwegian Standard on security risk analysis was published in 2014. The standard introduces a new, fresh and exciting look at how we conduct these types of analysis. While it builds on some familiar topics it revolutionizes others. One of the unique features of the new standard is that it is custom made for security risk analysis and not just risk analysis. This new standard starts by defining security risk analysis differently from many other standards and methods. This fresh new approach will make security risk analysis easier to perform and with a better result.
