Technology and Solutions Theatre

The Technology & Solutions Theatre - is the parallel track outside of the main programme running on 18 February and specially designed for exhibitors to showcase their products, services and the expertise to the delegates. This theatre which seats about 20 people is positioned in a prominent spot on the exhibition. This track will be featured on the website and onsite programme. There are only 22 slots available, which are assigned on first-come-first serve basis. The time slots are being confirmed upon receipt of the payment. ​Huseyin is a retired Police Director. During his 20 years' service, he held the rank of Chief of Bureau at Interpol Ankara, Head of Undercover Unit, Chief of Narcotic Operations, Anti – Smuggling & Organized Crime Director, Director of Press & Public Relations of Istanbul City Police Department. He also gained experience internationally within the Security and Safety Section in United Nation Office/ Vienna, United Nation International Police Task Force in Bosnia Herzegovina and as Police Liaison Officer within the German Federal Criminal Police in Germany. Huseyin holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and master degree in Executive MBA. Huseyin joined Microsoft Global Security in 2010 and holding currently the position as MEA Showcase Director. His role is to provide strategic direction for the Showcase program in MEA region on Microsoft Global Security's use of technology in their three global operations centers to meet the physical security and life safety needs of the corporation.

Biography ​Serra Luck joined HID Global in 2010 and is the Director of End-User and Consultant Business EMEA. Her group focuses on bringing HID's technology and end-to-end solutions closer to end users and consultants before, during and after any project as trusted advisor. Serra is working closely with Mobile Network Operators and the end users to integrate HID virtual credentials into their ecosystem in EMEA. Before joining HID, Serra worked in the Identity and Access Management space at Siemens AG and IT industry at Oracle Corporation. She has degree in Statistics and an MBA in International Management.

This presentation examines the risks from espionage to the business community and explores practical and effective mitigation techniques.
Biography ​Emma is the Managing Director of Esoteric Ltd., a well established electronic sweeping, counter-espionage and intelligence gathering company based in Woking Surrey. The company is accredited by the National Security Inspectorate and provides a solution based approach to countering espionage activity and electronic countermeasures to both commercial and non-commercial organisations internationally. An MBA graduate, and a Chartered Security Professional (CSyP) Emma's early career was spent with the Royal Military Police, followed by a career in the UK Security Service . Emma founded Esoteric Ltd in 1998. Emma is the Vice-Chairman of the Security Institute (Business) and has been responsible for its strategic direction and finances. She is a Board member of the Defence Industry Security Association (DISA); a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a member of the Advisory Council for CSARN. Emma was a finalist for the 2012 Lord Imbert Prize and won Security Consultant of Year at the Security Excellence Awards 2012.

​Biography Mr. Dodge has been involved in security, investigations and security consulting for 20 years. He also served honorably in the U. S. Navy. Robert's Investigation experience includes stints with a large Multinational High Tech Corporation as a Corporate Investigator with global responsibility. Robert also worked for a private investigation firm providing Investigation and security consulting services on a global level to corporate clientele based in Silicon Valley. Robert’s security experience includes working with American Protective Service as a Regional Manager and then the Securitas Group as a Vice President in Northern California. In his current role as Senior Vice President Robert is responsible for managing all of Pinkerton’s International Offices and Operations along with Pinkerton’s Global Supply Chain Security Consulting Division and Pinkerton’s Global Intelligence Division. During his career, he has operated on security & investigative projects in more than 60 countries around the world. He has special expertise in corporate investigations and risk/vulnerability/threat assessments. Mr. Dodge has been designated a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by ASIS International.

He has been active in countering espionage operations for the last 14 years and constantly evolves new procedures and solutions for emerging surveillance threats. He is security cleared and is a founder member of the Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Institute (TSCMi) a body of excellence within the TSCM industry.
