 Overview

In years past, our military and law enforcement concerned themselves with the three frontiers of war: Land, Sea, and Air.  As recent events have taught us, however, we must now concern ourselves with a fourth: Cyber.  This frontier brings unique challenges and different, hard to identify actors, as we march into the 21st century.

This webinar will address the new cyber frontier and the threats that confront it.  It will identify the terrorists and nation state actors who operate in this arena.  Threats to our nation's critical infrastructure (power grids, water supply, nuclear plants, etc.) will be explored. Moreover, it will identify threats to United States and European business as well as individuals.  This session will explore the methods of attack and discuss 21st century hacking, data breaches, and information warfare. Finally, specific steps for risk and threat prevention and mitigation will be discussed.

Learning Objectives

  • Explore the challenges of the cyber frontier of war
  • Learn the key players in the world of cyber war
  • Review specific steps for risk and threat prevention and mitigation
