Once your Business Continuity\Emergency Management team has created your organization's emergency action plan, how do you ensure that it will work?  One metric to use is staff performance on a tabletop exercise.  Such exercises allow staff to walk through an authentic emergency scenario to test emergency action plan.   Participating in this type of exercises can uncover potential plan weaknesses and provide feedback to your team.  For tabletop exercises to be effective, however, they need to be tailored your organization's culture as well as the viable threats that it faces. This webinar will show you the steps to creating organization-specific tabletop exercises that help staff practice critical skills in a safe, realistic environment.

Participants will learn to:

  • Follow the steps to design a tabletop exercise tailored to their organization
  • Create authentic scenarios to train both security and non-security staff for emergency action or business continuity events
  • Train staff to enact an organization's emergency action plan in collaborative simulated environment
