2006
City of Des Moines, IA

Special recognition is being given to the City of Des Moines, IA for their support of the CPP program. The city has taken the initiative in researching companies that bid on their contracts and requiring that they have a CPP on staff. Such was the case with the contract for security at the Des Moines International Airport and recently with the Des Moines Wastewater Reclamation Authority that required a local CPP and another to be attached to the account. While certification is not a requirement, they value the importance of having an ASIS Board Certified
individual as an important component in the various security sectors they serve.
