Early bird deadline extended to Feb 23 for ASIS European Security Conference

​Security professionals have until Monday, February 23 to save upward of €100 on their registration for the 14th European Security Conference and Exhibitions, taking place March 29-31 in Frankfurt, Germany.

German Federal Interior Minister to Open Conference

Dr. Thomas de Maizière,  Minister of Interior for Germany, will open the conference on Monday morning. The Ministry and its executive agencies cover a broad range of tasks and activities, extending from civil protection, integration, and sport funding to security.

In his address, Dr. de Maizière will provide a comprehensive overview of the security situation and introduce the security architecture in Germany. This includes focus areas of the security authorities, e.g. countermeasures against cybercrime, espionage, and terrorism.

On Tuesday, keynote speaker Axel Petri, SVP Group Security Governance, Deutsche Telekom AG, Germany, will kick off the day with his presentation on privacy challenges, including the Snowden revelations, digital criminals and their impact on telecommunication service industry.
