Join in welcoming our newest chapters – Southeast Georgia (293) and Puebla-Sureste, Mexico (294).
"The Southeast Georgia Chapter of ASIS was founded to provide the ASIS members in the region an opportunity to come together for networking and training opportunities,” stated Chapter Chair Kevin Sparks. “Many of our members are employed at or assigned to one of the many agencies that train at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Glynco, which makes driving out of town to attend a meeting not practical and feasible.”
Rapid growth in industry was a driving force behind the establishment of the Puebla-Sureste chapter, observed Hans-Deter Mokross, CPP, chapter chair. “There was no way to unite or educate security professionals,” he observed. “Our goal is to reach out to practitioners in the area and to provide networking and training. We want to be a reference for professionalism and knowledge in the region.”
With the addition of these new chapters, ASIS now has 234 chapters worldwide.
