It’s not always as difficult as it seems to identify whether or not your school has problems. Often there are telltale signs. Once you know the signs, it’s time to do something about it!
  1. Drugs are being sold in your school and/or on the grounds.
  2. Law enforcement is frequently being called to your school.
  3. Bullying is rampant.
  4. Teachers are looking for other opportunities because they want to leave your school.
  5. One of your bus drivers was just in an accident with a full bus load of children and his/her license was expired.
  6. Perimeter doors to the school are always unlocked or propped opened.
  7. Background checks have not been conducted on your faculty, staff, contractors, or vendors.
  8. There is no access control, ID badges, or lobby intercom system in your school.
  9. One of the teachers at your school is having an affair with a student.
  10. You see parents and their child on television with their lawyer announcing a lawsuit against your school and you don’t know anything about it.
  11. A student brings a gun to school and it goes undetected for weeks.
  12. Cameras are non-operational for months and only detected after an incident occurs.
