The ANSI/ASIS SPC.1-2009 Organizational Resilience: Security, Preparedness, and Continuity Management Systems—Requirements with Guidance for Use Standard has been selected for inclusion in the Department of Homeland Security Private Sector Preparedness Program (PS-Prep), a voluntary program designed to improve private sector resilience and preparedness in an all hazards environment.

This is the third in a three-part series designed to help organizations become more resilient and better prepared to prevent and manage disruptive events. Learn how to evaluate your organization’s current level of performance and build an action plan to achieve a desired level of resilience and preparedness that meets your business needs.

“Live from deep in the heart of Texas,” was recorded from the ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits. A core activity in implementing and maintaining a cost-effective resilience and preparedness strategy is auditing for improvement. Conformance with the ANSI/ASIS Organizational Resilience standard requires a program of internal auditing geared towards system improvement. Learn how to establish an internal auditing program consistent with the ISO 19011 that drives internal improvement, as well as provides an identical approach to auditing used by third-party certification bodies.

Other programs in the Building a Resilient Organization Series:
  • Using the ASIS Organizational Resilience Standard to Improve Resilience and Preparedness
  • Conducting a Gaps Analysis
  • Building Resilience Using a Maturity Model
Recorded October 13, 2010.

CD box set; 60 minutes. This webinar is eligible for one CPE.
