VIDEO SURVEILLANCE

As part of a multiphase security system project, the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA in Tampa, Florida, is incorporating video surveillance, fire, and intrusion upgrades, plus consolidation of existing and new cameras using 3xLOGIC, Inc.’s VIGIL video management system. The first phase of the project included the installation of approximately 150 3xLOGIC cameras in the Tampa YMCA’s facilities. The cameras were installed prior to the start of summer camp and during local shutdowns in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Phase II will involve upgrades to fire and intrusion systems from a separate manufacturer, while Phase III will have all cameras incorporated into 3xLOGIC’s VIGIL video management system. The overall project will monitor parking lots, protect the organization from false claims, and enhance the member experience.
