WIRELESS ACCESS CONTROL

Corning High School in Corning, Arkansas, increased its security and enhanced lockdown capabilities with ProtodataKey’s io wireless access control system. The multibuilding campus’s open style prompted the installer, Blue Sky Technologies, to select the wireless system, which also features around-the-clock accessibility, redundancy, and automated updates. The platform allows for automated locking and unlocking of exterior doors for all classroom buildings and additional locations, with the ability to secure new doors in the future solution through its wireless mesh network. “Student fobs” permit classroom and building entry during school hours, while locking out unauthorized people. The doors can be programmed for special schedules, such as lockdown conditions.
