ASIS International is saddened to share news of the passing of James Healey, former chair of the ASIS Boston Chapter.
Jim joined ASIS and the Boston Chapter in 1981, before serving as the Chapter’s vice chair in 1993 and its chair in 1994. When the Chapter asked, Jim stepped up—taking on the role of secretary and treasurer throughout the ensuing decades, serving most recently as treasurer in 2017.
Jim was the honored recipient of the Chapter’s Joseph E. Ewers Distinguished Service Award in 2013 and was a mentor to many security professionals in the region. He will be missed.
