1. Log-On

• Update your member record—Ensure your contact information and professional interest areas are accurate so we can tailor our communications to your needs.
• Create a Profile in the ASIS Career Center—Set up job alerts and find exciting career opportunities.
• Download your free Standards and Guidelines—Members receive one free download of each ASIS Standard and Guideline.

2. Connect with your peers

• Chapter Web sites—Find your Chapter Web site and plan to attend the next meeting.
• Online Member Directory—Reach out to more than 37,000 members across the globe.
• ASIS Linked-In Group and Facebook page—Join ASIS on these popular social networks.

3. Access the Information Resource Center (ASIS Library)

• Bookmark the IRC Web page—here you will find an assortment of industry research and resources, exclusive to members.

4. Check out the Education Calendar (Attn. new members who have joined since October 2011: Be sure to take advantage of your $100 education credit)

• Members receive preferential pricing on all our education offerings.

5. Get Involved!

• Councils and Committees—Sign up for one of our more than 30 ASIS councils or get involved in developing standards and guidelines by joining an open committee.
• Local Chapter Connection—Find your Chapter Web site and plan to attend the next meeting or networking event. Contact your chapter chair to find out about volunteer opportunities at the local level.
• ASIS Conferences and Education Programs—Make plans to attend or share your expertise by leading a session.
• Refer a friend—by now you know the benefits membership affords, why not tell a friend? Recruit five members and you and your chapter are eligible to win valuable prizes!
