Scholarship and Awards Programs
One of the primary objectives of the ASIS Foundation is to encourage
academic and educational pursuits for students and professionals in
the security field. The Foundation offers a variety of scholarships
and award programs to help ASIS members and nonmembers reach
their goals.
Below is a brief description of each of the programs offered.
The Roy Bordes Award for Physical Security
The ASIS International Foundation has established the Roy Bordes Award for Physical Security to recognize Roy Bordes' life's work. Each year, one chapter will win a customized physical security program to be presented locally. Applications are available now.
The Chapter Matching Scholarship supports the scholarship efforts of ASIS chapters by providing additional funds to match the amount allocated by the chapter. Find out more.
Chapter Endowed Scholarships
Chapter Endowed Scholarships result from the chapter endowed funds managed by the Foundation. Find out more.
Allan J. Cross Award
The Allan J. Cross, CPP™, Award pays the registration fee for ASIS members to attend an ASIS certification review course. Find out more.
Timothy J. Walsh APC I Award
The Timothy J. Walsh APC I Award will pay the tuition, transportation, and hotel (room and tax) costs for an ASIS member to attend the ASIS Assets Protection Course (APC) I. Find out more.
The 2008 Student Writing Competition will reward students who conduct research, engage in thoughtful deliberation, and write an academic paper between 3,000 and 6,000-words long on an issue relevant to the security and assets protection profession. Applications are available now.
