EligibilityAll chapters are eligible for The Roy Bordes Award for Physical Security. Preference will be given to developing chapters working to expand their membership and education offerings.
Chapters may submit only one application annually. Relatives of the ASIS Foundation Board of Trustees are ineligible to apply for the award. |
Application Process
A chapter leader must commit chapter support and submit an application, a program proposal, and all other required information to the Foundation by the deadline, either by mail or fax. - have a strong education program, including high attendance rates, diverse and plentiful programs on the chapter calendar, and member attendance at ASIS International-sponsored programs
- support the award, including identifying an award champion, a healthy projected attendance, a capacity to host the program, and a budget for on-site expenses
- hold the program within the award year
Selection Process
Foundation and Education staff will select finalists. The Foundation Board of Trustees will select the winner and determine program parameters. The winning chapter will be selected without regard to race, age, gender, religion, political beliefs, employment status, or any other factors that could constitute unfair or illegal discrimination.
