ASIS Foundation Sponsors the W. H. Brownyard Award for Meritorious Service
In partnership with the Brownyard Group, the ASIS Foundation is pleased to sponsor the 2010 W. H. Brownyard Award for Meritorious Service. Created by Mr. Brownyard in 1987, this annual award recognizes security officers (guards) who have displayed the best attributes of a security professional through an act of bravery or heroism. Applications for the 2010 award are being accepted through July 31, 2010. LEARN MORE
Oldest Canadian Chapter Wins 2010 Roy Bordes Award for Physical Security
The 2010 Roy Bordes Award for Physical Security winner is the ASIS Edmonton and Northern Alberta Chapter (#156). The chapter plans to host a broad-based physical security workshop for its members and ASIS chapter members from neighboring provinces, as well as students and nonmember security practitioners throughout Canada.
