Giving to the Foundation

Substantial resources are needed to support the Foundations' many programs and activities. Although ASIS International provides some financial assistance, it is the responsibility of the Foundation to do much of the fundraising. Your support is critical to our ongoing ability to providing leading-edge research and education awards.

Personal Contributions

It's easy to support the Foundation's work. You can make an online contribution, check the "additional gift to the Foundation" box on your membership renewal form, or mail or FAX in our donation form (pdf). While $25 or $50 may not seem significant, with more than 37,000 members, it can quickly add up.

Chapter Contributions

Chapter gifts are traditionally made once a year in advance of the Annual ASIS International Seminar. All chapters who make a contribution are invited to attend an elegant, invitation-only reception prior to the Foundation Dinner. Chapter donation form (pdf).

Corporate Contributions

In addition to advancing the industry, an association with the Foundation can create valuable marketing opportunities for many companies, both large and small. We have a range of sponsorship packages that can be tailored specifically for a corporation's needs. Find out more.

Special Gifts

Special recognition of an individual's personal contribution or achievement in the field of security management may be made in the form of a donation to the ASIS Foundation. These gifts may be made by friends, relatives, co-workers, chapters, or regions to recognize the work and contributions of an individual or group.

Memoriam - Donations may be made to the Foundation in honor of an individual who is no longer with us, but whose life made an impact on our profession.

Recognition - Often times, a group of individuals or an organization wishes to honor a living security professional or mark a special occasion. A contribution to the ASIS Foundation is a unique way to provide well-earned recognition and to give back to the profession.

Foundation's Annual Fundraiser

The Foundation's primary fundraiser takes place at the annual ASIS International Seminar, where we are able to draw the most attention to our needs. The ASIS Foundation Golf Tournament, which takes place the Sunday before the program begins, attracts more than 100 golfers for a morning on the links followed by a lively awards luncheon.
