Vienna Highlights - 40 EUR + VAT

During this short sightseeing tour the guests will get a compact idea of Vienna, of its size, population and of course of its history. Along the Ringstrasse, the most important boulevard of Vienna, we will show you numerous significant buildings, such as the Museum of Applied Art, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Natural History Museum, the MuseumsQuartier, the Parliament, the City Hall , the Burgtheater and the stock exchange.

On the way to the next highlight we will have a short look at the spectacular "Hundertwasserhaus". Friedensreich Hundertwasser was an Austrian artist and architect. His buildings are very near to nature, no straight lines, trees are growing on the balconies, lot of colours etc.

The next highlight will be the Giant Ferry Wheel in the Prater. The Ferry Wheel is one of the landmarks of Vienna and a symbol for the "Prater" (name of the former hunting grounds of the Emperor as well as for the amusement park).

Afterwards we will cross the river Danube to have a look to the modern part of Vienna.Right in time the tour is coming back to the Ringstrasse and ends near the Hofburg, the former Habsburg winter residence.

Spanish Horse-Riding School and Imperial Palace - 55 EUR + VAT

The tour starts with a walkabout in the Hofburg – the Imperial Palace, the winter residence of the former emperors of Austria.

The guests will get to know about the live and the living conditions of the Habsburgs who lived in the 2.300 rooms of the Hofburg.

A part of the Hofburg complexe is the Vienna Spanish Horse Riding School. It is the oldest and the one and only riding school worldwide, where the classic art of horse riding in its purest form is performed.

The name derives from the fact that this institute uses - since their foundation in 1572 – horses of Spanish origin. The Lippizzans are one of the oldest horse breeds in Europe.

Having talked about history and every day's life of the Lippizzans, the white horses will be shown during an exclusive tour of the stables in very small groups during the afternoon.

"Mozart & Strauss - The Classical Popstars" - 45 EUR + VAT

Mozart and Strauss are the most popular musicians of Vienna – both of them influenced cultural life in a very deep way – everyone in their century. Mozart was in Vienna several times. During his childhood he visited Vienna twice (1762 and 1767). 1781 he came to Vienna to stay here for longer time. In a letter to his family he wrote:" Vienna is the best place for my music". Strauss – the inventor of the Waltz lived from 1825 -1899 in Vienna. He created a new body and life awareness. The waltz was the first dance where men and women danced close together!! What a new experience. During this walking tour participants will experience highlights of the life of these two musicians. Starting at the famous monument of Johann Strauss at the Stadtpark, walking through the old city to the St.Stephens Cathedral, where Strauss has been married and the requiem for Mozart has been held, looking to the "Mozart house"(museum), and finding some other historical interesting places of Strauss .
