Abstract
Our communication landscape changes significantly with the rise of sophisticated Cyber phones and next generation telecommunication networks. This changes the way we protect information assets and confidentiality when such devices and networks are used. Only enterprises and institutions that keep their sensitive information secure against eavesdropping will succeed. The questions are: "What security threats and solutions are for this new technology? How do we protect proprietary information against interception in the physical and cyber world?". Furthermore, the transition from 2G/3G to 4G (LTE) has brought major expansion to network infrastructure and data traffic are growing exponential with significant jump in access speed. Mobile operators need to employ a consistent framework that allows them to integrate security as their DNA when building or expanding the networks. This presentation will address both perspective from the users and operators.

Abstract
Most of us wouldn't dream of accepting a back door in a new modern building complex if it could be easily pushed open to provide free access to the outside world, even if it was a defining feature for the building. We would demand that it be replaced with a more secure model. If it led to a break in and a theft occurred demands may well be made for compensation. This is the scenario that is often being repeated played out in the software development world. Many in the software development world are working with organisations like (ISC)2 to share knowledge and define and establish recognised best practices for the sector.
Jenny Reid

In 2009 Jenny bought iFacts and developed a purely screening company into an organization providing comprehensive services to ensure employees are safe and secure as well as honest.
Jenny is constantly looking for new and innovative ways to ensure companies maintain true value in their organisation and enhance it. 2010 was no different, with Jenny having brought the first online integrity test, from Israel, to South African shores. This test will provide a very cost effective method of helping companies employ honest staff members.
Jenny is currently the President of the Security Association of South Africa where she was the first female to hold the rank of President in 40 years.

Abstract
The terms safety and security often go hand-in-hand, but when it comes to site security in sectors such as, manufacturing, the oil industry and other hazardous operations, the two issues are in many ways diametrically opposed. Preventing physical intrusion onto sites is a major security issue, but it is one which can often be at direct odds with the other crucial issue of safety. Security requires that sites be locked and guarded, whilst safety often demands the exact opposite for ease of escape. With careful consideration, safety need not compromise site security and security need not compromise safety.
Mr David Shneerson
Mr. David Shneerson is currently director of Sales Engineering for Verint Video Solutions covering the Asia Pacific region. In this role, David is responsible for designing command and control solutions for the security industry. These solutions include Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) systems as well as video management systems. Abstract
Analysts predict high adoption of PSIM software over the coming years as it becomes a key consideration moving forward for operational effectiveness of Command, Control, and Communications centres. PSIM is a set of processes and supporting technologies for physical security management and reporting which captures information from a variety of disparate security, safety and corporate systems. It enables quick correlation and analysis of the data to identify and more effectively manage response to situations, rapidly routing alerts and actions to responders based on pre-defined rules. PSIM has attracted considerable attention over the past few years, and is emerging as an imperative within the industry for those organisations looking to take their security operations to the next level.
