Critical Infrastructure Working Group

The ASIS International Critical Infrastructure Working Group (CIWG) provides a specialized resource to ASIS members who serve the nations 14 critical infrastructures and 4 key assets as defined by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The CIWG is a viable link to both private and public sector entities associated with issues relevant to critical infrastructure protection, disaster resilience, and continuity of operations. Members are ASIS volunteers who are generally nominated to serve this working group from the existing councils. As such, the CIWG is a common mechanism for inter-council cooperation in protecting the vital interests of our nation through information sharing, educational programs, and resources.
