| CPP® Re-Examination Applicants are allowed to take the CPP, PCI, and PSP exam three times in two years. The two-year period begins on the date of approval to take the exam. The first time an applicant fails the exam, he or she must wait three months before retaking it. The second time an applicant fails the exam, he or she must wait six months before retaking it. Application for Certification as a Protection Professional To retake the exam, the candidate must complete only the following portions of the application (the re-examination form is the same as the application form): Do not fill out the entire application. Only complete the following information (page 1, 2 and page 5):
Re-testing fees $200.00 USD for Computer Based Testing (CBT) - Worldwide. $100.00 USD for Paper and Pencil Testing - This fee applies to tests administered in Ecuador, Jamaica, New Zealand, Panama, Qatar, Sweden and Trinidad & Tobago.
