Certificants have various options through which they can earn recertification credits. These include security or business management-related organizations, online educational programs, and public service projects. By no means are these the only ways to earn valuable credit. See more details below (followed by a list of links) to a sampling of educational sources and volunteer activities. Please note that the certification department cannot guarantee that these programs and organizations still exist, but the information is updated as needed.

Memberships
Are you a member of a nonprofit security or business management-related association? Your membership can earn you receritification credits. Earn credits for association activities that contribute to the enhancement of your designation via education and other professional development programs.

Organizations and Chapters Offering Educational Programs
Earn credits by choosing topics that are relevant to the practice of security or business management. Refer to your respective designation domain - CPP®, PCI®, PSP®. Educational programs can include:
- Completion of a security or business management-related 3 credit course from an accredited college or university
- Attending or speaking/teaching at function-specific seminars, workshops and academic courses
- Self study via web or audio forums and much more...

Public Service Projects
Remember that your volunteer activities also count! Eligible activities include those for a charitable, religious, governmental or community entity that is performed pro-bono. Examples are security audits of public school buildings; security plan for fund-raising march or other large activity; evaluation of emergency management for public agency.
