ASIS Board Certification Exam Study Tips

Quarterly surveys of new ASIS board certificants provide valuable insight into exam preparation. As you prepare for your CPP, PCI, or PSP examination, keep these study tips in mind:

1. Start preparing early. Make a plan and pace yourself. (No cramming!)
2. Conduct a self-assessment to identify areas on which you need to focus.
3. Read the reference materials.
4. Seek the support of a certificant or study group. (Contact your local ASIS Chapter.)
5. Take a classroom or online review, each of which includes a practice exam.
